Create Your Own Calm: A Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Series to Quiet Anxiety
This series is for anyone who would like to learn mindful practices for peace and self-acceptance. Through journal prompts and somatic practices, we will dismantle anxiety in order to transition from fear to calm curiosity.
Each class will offer comfort for an anxious heart, somatic practices to help release anxiety, and lessons to carry with you.
Classes may include:
- Journal prompts
- Gentle yoga postures and mindful movement
- Breathing techniques
- Affirmations
- Guided meditation
- Sound healing
Beginners are welcome.
IN-PERSON on Sundays at 2:00 - 3:30pm
In-Person Sessions:
- Sundays: January 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th
- We will meet at Northwest Medical Massage, located at 205 W Giaconda Way, #115, Oro Valley, AZ.
- Time: 2:00 - 3:30pm.
- No refunds for missed sessions.
- $75 for all 4 classes
- In-Person sessions are limited to 10 participants. Yoga mats and props are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own items, if you wish.
