Somatic Awakening: A 4-Week Introduction to Somatics
Discover a new way of moving, healing, and reconnecting with your body through this 4-week Somatics workshop series. Designed to gently retrain the nervous system, Somatics uses slow, mindful movements to release chronic tension, improve mobility, reduce pain patterns, and restore ease throughout the body.
Each 2-hour workshop focuses on a different area of the body and combines somatic education, guided movement, breathwork, nervous system regulation, and deep relaxation. Participants will learn how stress, posture habits, injuries, and emotional patterns become stored in the muscles — and how to gently unwind those patterns through awareness-based movement.
Week 1 introduces the foundations of Somatics and nervous system awareness.
Week 2 explores the trunk and spine, helping release tension held in the core and back body.
Week 3 focuses on the upper body, including the shoulders, neck, chest, and jaw. Week 4 brings attention to the hips, legs, feet, and grounding patterns for greater stability and freedom of movement.
This series is perfect for anyone experiencing stress, stiffness, chronic tension, fatigue, posture imbalances, or simply wanting to feel more connected to their body.
No experience is necessary. All levels and bodies are welcome.
