$75 for all 6 sessions (No drop-ins, please as space is reserved for students committing to the entire 6-week series.)
Isn't it time you started your yoga practice? This series is for beginners or seasoned practitioners who would like to get back into a regular home yoga practice.
Each 90-minute session will include 30 minutes of instruction on how to start and maintain a sustainable home yoga practice followed by a 60-minute yoga class. You'll learn about yoga foundations, pranayama or breathing techniques, mantras, chakra balancing, relaxation and meditation techniques.
Each session will focus on:
Jan. 4: Begin at the Beginning - Yoga Fundamentals
Jan. 11: Just Breathe - Pranayama (Breath Work)
Jan. 18: Om - The Power of Mantra
Jan. 25: Chakra Balancing
Feb. 1: Burn, Baby, Burn!: Turning Up the Heat with Vinyasa Flow
Feb. 8: Relax and Renew: Relaxation Techniques and Meditation
Space is limited to 6 students, so reserve your spot today. You'll get the most out of this series by attending all 6 sessions. No refunds, but you may transfer your registration to another student in the event you cannot make it at the last minute, either for 1 or all sessions. Bring a mat if you have one. We do have a few to lend.
Your instructor: Kristy Harvey, E-RYT, has been teaching yoga and therapeutic dance for over 10 years. She is the former Administrative Director of the Mindfulness Center at the University of Virginia. Her book, Mindfulness On the Move (2014, Lulu Press), offers alternatives to traditional meditation techniques. She currently lives in Tucson, AZ.
