Life brings cycles of activity and rest. We need both to find balance and well-being. Rest brings a time to renew, restore, and rejuvenate. Restorative Yoga is the practice of finding your way to rest and relaxation.
Each class will focus on body awareness, breath work, mindfulness, and cultivating compassion. Poses are held gently between 3 - 15 minutes to allow for maximum relaxation in each pose.
Restorative Yoga is accessible to Every Body. We all have a body. We all could use some rest. Join me on the mat.
Wear comfy clothes, and consider wearing layers and socks as we will not be generating any body heat during the practice. There are plenty of props available at Bhava Wellness, but feel free to bring anything that will make yourself more comfortable (favorite blanket, eye pillow, etc.).
